One of my first abstract paintings! In fact, this is one of my first paintings ever!

I was walking out of Future Shop in Richmond, BC (across from the Ikea), when all of a sudden I noticed an old exit-sign sticker on their front door. It had started to crack from old-age and extended exposure to sunlight. It must have been decades old, or at least it looked it. But, the pattern! Oh, what a pattern! Just the most gorgeous crackle pattern ever. Like natural craqueleur or crazing.  I rushed home and painted this piece (and 'Trick or Treat' below).
